2nd Baby Appointment

 We went to the doctor two weeks ago (Sep.19th) and we heard the babies heartbeat to which the doctor said "well your going to be pregnant for a long time." Which means baby is doing so good. It was so crazy to hear babies heartbeat and once again I was amazed that I was actually pregnant.

They also took my blood to check for a bunch of things, and guess what I didn't even cry! Not once, and trust me I had plenty of reason to, she took 4 tubes full! The blood work came back perfect except my thyroid. Which isn't really news, every time they check my thyroid something is wrong with it but not enough wrong that I actually have to do something. But I guess the pregnancy is making it worse which could cause problems for baby if I don't take the medicine, so I'm taking it.

But besides that all is well, baby is growing great. I really hope they are right about that because I haven't taken my prenatal vitamins in so long and I hardly eat anything. I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow and I'm hoping that's my lucky day and I'll just wake up and feel totally grand!

We decided to pay the extra $50 for the 16 week ultrasound to see what the sex of baby is, and o man I cannot wait. I always said I wanted it to be a surprise but now that I am actually here doing it, I can't wait. Plus it makes it almost impossible to shop for baby clothes. I found this pink sweater that I want at Target, seriously the cutest thing you've ever seen but David is making me wait. Smart man.
