Rivers Lately

Taken May 28th
Taken June 7th right after he had woken up.
Here he is telling me some kind of awesome story.

Some things I'm loving about Rivers lately.

-His intense desire to eat his hand. He's only been able to actually get his thumb in his mouth a couple times.

- He was taking his pre bedtime nap yesterday. So David and I were sitting outside and I had to run upstairs to grab something so I thought I would check on him cause it had been awhile, and he was just hanging out in his crib nibbling on his hands, no problem.

-Oh yes he's sleeping IN HIS CRIB! I never thought such a thing would be possible. And he semi takes naps in his crib or on our bed.

- He loves to talk after his bath. It's like it's his pillow talk time with Mom and Dad. After bath we take him into his room to put a diaper on and PJ's, this takes place on his changing pad and during the whole process he is just chatting away. Last night I let him talk for a good 5 minutes after his PJ"s were on before I fed him, it's hilarious.

- He loves looking at himself in the mirror. He will ooo and gaaa for quite awhile, laughing at himself or me. It's so fun, and a quick fix when he is upset.

- The other day I fed him before he started to fuss I knew he would be hungry soon, and I figured I would skip the dramatic crying and just go ahead and feed him. Once he figured out what was going on he let out a big oooaa. Like ooh yaa food! Obviously thus doesn't even do it justice.

-His eye lashes are getting even longer!!

-He's so smiley when we really wake up in the mornings, usually around 9. That doesnt mean we weren't up at 5, 6, or 7 though to eat.  Sometimes Dave sits up with at 7, and Rivers will just chat his ear off.

-Yesterday Dave came home for lunch and Rivers was eating and as soon as he heard Davids voice he stopped eating and started smiling and talking. Same thing when he came home that night.

-He is already in his size 2 diapers, and almost out grown his 0-3 month clothing.

-He's all about drooling.

-He loves to be apart of the action, looking around and seeing whats going on. He hates to be in his stroller too long. He wants to be held so he can see everything.

-He also hates to be in his car seat but that's a story for another day.
