4 Month Check Up

We took Rivers in for his 4 month check up last week and he is doing great. 16 pounds and 26 inches. Which put him in the 80th percentile for weight and height I think. But last time he was low in the 40th so those things are stupid. The doctor said we could start him on rice cereal and baby food. We tried the rice cereal mixed in with breast milk, which he ate with no complaints from a bottle. But when we tried to spoon feed it to him, that was not having it.

As far as baby food goes I'm just going to make that myself and probably won't start that until next month. We did let him lick a peach and he was loving it. However when I went to lick it to see if he could even taste anything it didn't taste like much, so it might have just been for the love of putting anything and everything in his mouth.

I'm glad he is doing well, I always worry he isn't getting enough milk. But his weight says otherwise. Working on a 4 month picture update to  be posted soon.....
