4 Months

 If these aren't the cutest pictures you've ever seen I don't know what it is!

He disliked swimming 2 out of the 3 times he was put in the water. We've learned that not every swimming occasion is Rivers appropriate so he sits most of them out, and if you know how much I love to go swimming that's a lot.

While swimming the last time though Mom slowly lowered Rivers into the water and after a few minutes he figured out that it was much like his bath and he could kick his arms and legs to create a splashing effect. This new learned trick has transferred over to our baths and Mom can hardly get a good scrub in before all the water is out of his little tub.

He loves to play with his toys, especially the plastic balls with holes that he can grab onto. He wants to put everything in his mouth. Sometimes I will go to kiss his cheek but he's already turned his face and is eating my lips.

He has started to wake up grumpy from naps and needs Mama to rock him awake before he is all smiles.

He's started to roll from his tummy to his side, still not rolling over that way yet, and still only rolling from stomach to back on occasion.

Sleeping this month has been a little insane, so much so that we are really hitting it hard with a sleeping routine. It's slowly getting better.

He still loves to jibber jabber all the day long. He loves people, but if the noise level gets too high or the energy in the room is too high he gets a little freaked out.

I took him on a "play date" more like a play date for Mom and he sat so quietly just watching the other little boy, not really talking much like he does with adults. It was interesting to see how different he was. The other little boy was 10 months and kept trying to grab Rivers haha.

He has two bottom teeth coming in.
