We woke up and did Easter Baskets, mine is on the left David on the right. We set a low budget for ourselves since I can tend to really go over board on Holidays. David appropriately got a basket of candy and treats, and I got chocolates with some nail kit essentials.
The rest of the morning we prepped for a dinner we were hosting and ate cinnamon rolls and baked cookies for friends. We headed off to church a little late and I didn't even think to get a cute picture of us in our Easter best. The kids were a little nuts in primary most likely because they all had sugar for breakfast.
That night we had friends over for dinner and dessert. It was nice to have a bunch of people over for dinner, we haven't done that in a long time and it made Utah feel more like home. By the time everyone left we were so exhausted we just went right to bed.
It was the perfect Easter Sunday.
You two are cute! I meant to ask what you got in your Easter baskets. And... I nearly wanted to like my computer screen at the sight of that cake.
