Family Photos 2012 Part 2

For the second half of the shoot we rented a canoe from the schools outdoor rec area, and took it out to the pond that sits in the middle of the park. It started to rain right before we got started which at first I was bummed about but it actually made for some awesome pictures.

 ^^See what I mean? How cool is this picture? I can't wait to hang it!! ^^

The photographer was able to get all these pictures from the shore, pretty amazing right? And she was pregnant! Big thanks to Tara for these amazing pictures and an even bigger thanks to Steven and Margeaux for doing all the behind the scenes lifting, couldn't have done it without you guys.

Now what to do for this year?

Family Photos 2012 Part 1

Last summer while living in Rexburg I really wanted to get some pictures taken of David and I, it had been 4 years since we had professional pictures taken and thought it would be nice to have some newer pictures of us to hang in the house.

A friend of Davids had taken a picture of us for a class assignment the year earlier. She needed 50 different couples to model so she only spent a few minutes with us taking a picture and in that short amount of time she was able to capture one of my favorite pictures of us. So I knew with more time we could have a really awesome set of pictures. 

It probably doesn't look like it from the pictures, but I spent a lot of time figuring out what we were going to wear, where to take the pictures, and different props. So I'm a little more in love with these pictures because of all the energy I put into them.  Now I just need to get them hung....

So here is the first set, in the first outfit.
