On Being Sick

If there is one thing I cannot handle its feeling like I'm going to throw up. Give me a headache all day and I can deal with it, but feeling sick to the stomach not so much.

For the first couple weeks I felt fine and actually wondered if I was pregnant. I never got sick and nothing had really changed. I was counting myself pretty lucky, thinking this pregnancy thing would be a breeze besides getting bigger.

Then August came, I don't think I will ever be able to look at August the same. Right after we got back from Utah it started.

The  nausea, the throwing up, and the nausea.

It pretty much never goes away.

I can sometimes distract myself from it but most times I just want to die.

It's gotten a little bit better but not much.

You can almost always count on me throwing up dinner, and breakfast if we are really lucky.

Today I threw up lunch right before I was leaving for a class, and then the whole class period I felt sick I couldn't even focus. Good thing it was the first day and not much happens.

Most nights I go to bed by 9 or 9:30. 10 is really pushing it. If I stay up too late it is a guaranteed throw up fest.

The best throw up session I ever had was when I took my vitamins aka horse pills and literally seconds later there was projectile vomit all over the bathroom floor. David cleaned that up just so you know. Obviously I don't take those anymore. If anything even smells close to a vitamin I get nauseous  that includes my pee. It always smells like vitamins, kill me!

And now that I've talked so much about my throw up patterns I feel like throwing up. So I will leave you. On the bright side baby is the size of a lime and limes are refreshing.
